Taste: An easygoing bouquet of blackberry and raspberry preserve. Well-balanced palate which delivers gentle grip, slightly chalky tannins and brisk. Quite mineral finish.
Vibes with: Lamb skewers, pasta Bolognese, flank steak with fries. Cheeses: Cantal, Tomme.

Harvest: Manual and sorting. Vinification: 100% destemmed, traditional vinification in thermoregulated stainless steel vats. Vatting of 15 days. Aging: 12 to 15 months partially in oak barrels as well as stainless steel tanks. Including 15% new oak.
The plots are located in the flat area of Aloxe- Corton in the different climats “Les Cras”, “Les Boutières” and “Les Combes”. Soil: Clay and limestone, deep soil with red clay. Vineyard average age is 35 years old. Average production is 6,500 bottles.

Domaine Dubreuil-Fontaine, located near Pernand-Vergelesses, is a family wine business in Burgundy. They are cultivating Chardonnay on the climat of Pernand-Vergelesses and Corton Charlemagne, and Pinot Noir on the climat of Pernand-Vergelesses, Aloxe-Corton, Volnay, Pommard, Beaune, Savigny-les-Beaune. Their cultivating methods are environmentally friendly. Our wines are a full expression of the Burgundian terroir.
Family Time Line:
1879 : Foundation of Pierre Arbinet’s family estate, which now has 50 acres under the management of Christine Dubreuil, the 5th generation who succeeded to her father Bernard.
1977 : Acquisition of the house “Rameau Lamarosse”
1985 : Construction of a new winery and cellar on three levels.
2011 : Christine Gruère-Dubreuil leads the estate since 20 years.
2019 : Clémentine Gruère-Dubreuil, a new generation, comes to the estate which is 140 years old.
Located in the Côte de Beaune, Domaine Dubreuil-Fontaine uses the noble grape varieties of Chardonnay and Pinot noir to make up its wide range of 22 appellations : starting from the fruty Bourgogne, to the lively village, from the prestigious Premier cru to the rare Grand Cru. Its vineyards cover the villages of: Pernand-Vergelesses, Aloxe-Corton and Savigny Les Beaune, Pommard, Beaune and Volnay.
Our cultivating methods are environmentally friendly, the goal is to produce a rich and healthy harvest whilst ensuring the sustainability of our soils. The treatments and spraying are reasoned, soils are tilled in order to maintain maximum natural balance of our vineyards. Harvesting is carried out by hand and sorted, maturity is checked upon arrival at the winery.
