About the Wine: Grapes are gently and slowly pressed in pneumatic presses, then the must is settled at low temperature. Fermentation is in temperature controlled vats so to preserve the freshness and natural fruitiness of the grape. The wine undergoes alcoholic fermentation, malolactic fermentation and then matures for 6 to 8 months on fine lees in stainless steel vats.
The ideal weather conditions in Burgundy in 2023, characterised by a favourable spring, a hot summer with cool nights, moderate rainfall and an early autumn harvest, played a key role in the high yields and exceptional quality of the grapes at harvest time.
The white wines are distinguished by their elegance, complexity and liveliness. Subtle aromas of white fruit, citrus and floral notes add to their remarkable freshness.

About the Producer: When Michel Bouchard settled in Burgundy in 1731 to set up a flourishing enterprise in the fabric trade followed by branching out to become a wine broker, he laid down the family’s Burgundian roots. In 1750, his eldest son, Joseph, followed his father in the family business, anchoring the presence of the Bouchards on the Côte d’Or. Working closely with local winegrowers, this close collaboration resulted in a crafting of wine merchant-winemaker-cellarer, with the unyielding quest for perfection in quality, authenticity of style and prestige. Formed from over two centuries of savoir-faire, these attributes are imbued in the culture of our House - Bouchard Aîné & Fils. The outcome - a perfect mastery of grape selection, winemaking and ageing. The history of the first wine merchant families is rich and complex. However, few remain that continue this rich tradition. Our House, Bouchard Aîné & Fils is one of the exceptions amongst the few and is passionately proud of its two-century old history and tradition
